Stop & Shop employees volunteer

Stop & Shop is a vital and significant partner to Foodshare. They not only donate food and raise thousands of dollars through their "Food for Friends" program, but also volunteer their time o support our work.  In addition to Vice President Tino Rovero serving on the Foodshare Board of Directors, groups of employees and managers come to Foodshare to volunteer.  A group of managers volunteered at our Foodshare's Bloomfield facility yesterday. They sorted bread and went through it so quickly we had them work on breaking down large bags of carrot into small bags for Mobile Foodshare. We appreciate all their efforts to support Foodshare's mission to end hunger.
