The Bloomfield Rotary Club is a long-time supporter of Foodshare's work and when Foodshare moved to Bloomfield six years ago, I decided that it was time for me to join the club (or maybe more accurately, they started recruiting me the minute they heard we were moving to Bloomfield!).
This great organization of business and professional men and women provides a variety of services to the Town of Bloomfield, the region and state, and indeed around the world through Rotary International.
In the month of November, the club gave all of their weekly meetings "fines and happy dollars" to Foodshare, which totalled $1,000! Club President Ken Sklodosky presented a check to me at this morning's meeting.
