An intern joins the team at Foodshare

Welcome to Foodshare's newest intern, Alicia Lienhop from St. Joseph’s College. Alicia will be working with our Agency Relations team through April 5 and will be developing a survey to better understand how frequently households attend Mobile Foodshare distributions.

Alicia graduated from St. Joseph’s last May with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics. She is currently attending Saint Joseph’s for the Dietetic Internship and will be completing a portion of her community rotation through working with Foodshare.

She has been actively involved in multiple community events throughout her undergraduate career and years prior. More recently she held a position as President of the Nutrition Club and supported the Turkey and Twenty campaign for three years with great success. In addition to this event, the club has participated in the Walk Against Hunger for three years and she plans on continuing the tradition to support the Walk in the future. She has also supported local women’s shelters through food and clothing drives.

Alicia is interested to learn how Foodshare functions to support all the food assistance programs in our service area and hopes to continue helping advance our mission.
