Eggs!

KoffKoff Farms donated 960 cases of eggs this week!  At 15 dozen eggs per case that's 14,400 dozen eggs - no matter how you count them, a lot of eggs and a lot of healthy protein.

Because the eggs are near the code date, we will be distributing them quickly, primarily via Mobile Foodshare.

Did you know that code dates are industry standards and virtually all food items have a usable life after the code date?  With eggs, if they have been held at a safe temperature, the usuable life can be two to three weeks after the code.
