Ocean State Job Lot sent trucks to food banks throughout the northeast today as a part of their annual drive. Ocean State customers donate at the register and then the chain matches the funds and purchases food at their bargain prices to donate. They expect to donate 90 tractor trailer loads of food to food banks around the region this year.
As a part of today's convoy, Foodshare received two tractor-trailer loads of food which included breakfast cereal, canned vegetables, and pasta.
