| Gaye presents a certificate to Chuck Joseph, Sr. and Chuck the III! |
Foodshare staffer Gaye Sgamboti recently visited the owners of Joseph Family Markets (ShopRite Canton and ShopRite West Hartford), to present them with Certificates of Appreciation for their very generous donations in 2013. Combined, their stores donated 127,763 meals worth of food to hungry people in their communities. In addition to the donations of food items, Foodshare is so very grateful for their participation in Hunger Action Teams, the Food Industry Council, Convoy of Caring, Turkey and Thirty collections, and the Walk Against Hunger. Realizing that the problem of hunger goes beyond just food, the owners and staff of the Joseph Family Markets are true champions in the fight against hunger.
