3,000 hours of volunteer work!

Fred Arnold is one in a million. He recently hit 3,000 volunteer hours and in this photo, Volunteer Coordinator Edna Bailey presents him with a 3,000 hour volunteer recognition pin.

He has helped Foodshare in so many ways that he is truly "Fred of all trades." Here is a short list: Mobile Foodshare, Volunteer Advisory Council, warehouse, volunteer recruiter, Turkey and Twenty drive, special event, and e-advocate. Whenever we need a hand, he raises it.

During the 2011 Thanksgiving season, he showed up at 4 in the morning with me to help collect Turkeys and Twenties at Stop and Shop. How can you ask for a more dedicated volunteer?
