Stop & Shop Food for Friends has a summer kick-off

Stop & Shop Supermarkets and their customers have been among the largest supporters of Foodshare's work to end hunger for many years.  Not only is the store one of our largest food donors, the customers donate money at the register each year through the "Food for Friends" campaign.

This campaign has traditionally run only at the holidays.  But recognizing how great the needs are in the summer months, Stop & Shop will be kicking off a two-week campaign in the stores tomorrow.  So, if you are in the stores in the next two weeks, please consider making a donatin.

And don't worry, the campaign will be back in November!
