CL&P donations moves us closer to the goal

This afternoon at 5:00, Connecticut Light and Power President William Herdegen joined me at Foodshare to announce two major donations.

CL&P donated 5,000 turkeys to the Turkey and Thirty campaign, bringing us to just 872 away from our goal of 19,000!

In addition, Mr. Herdegen presented me with a donation check for $150,000.  The funraising effort has now passed the halfway mark, with $380,855 left to raise toward the goal of $875,000.
