For Foodshare staff, it's definitely turkey time!

Received this e-mail last night from Foodshare staffer Paula Siebers...

"I was at a church meeting last night to celebrate the achievements of the Young Women in our congregations in the Hartford area.

"After the meeting two men that I rarely see (as they attend a different congregation) approached me.

“'We heard you work at Foodshare?  We have some ‘extra’ turkeys.  Can you take them?'

"I wish I had taken a picture then- but I did get this… Fortunately with the son away at college, there was room in the freezer at home for 12 turkeys.

"I will bring them in on Monday."

All I can say, is thank you and I'm sure glad you have a big freezer at home!
