Good neighbors

The Metropolitan Learning Center, a magnet school, is just down the street from Foodshare.  As a part of our being good neighbors, we have partnered with them to provide a possible shelter for students in the event of an emergency evacuation.

As a result, they run a drill once a year where they walk the students down to Foodshare, take attendance once in the warehouse, and then walk back. 

Today was the day!  About 800 students joined us for a brief time!
