New faces at Foodshare

Several new people have joined the team at Foodshare in the last week.

Meredith Maffett joined us as events coordinator, and will be jumping in to help with turkey team activities, outside third party events, and the 2013 Walk Against Hunger.  Meredith graduated from Trinity College with a degree in Public Policy and Law, and gained events and public relations experience while working for the Ron Foley Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.   

Mark Cherrington also joined us this week as Director of Communications.  Mark has previously served in similar positions with two Massachusetts organizations - Cultural Survival and Earthwatch Institute.  He brings a wealth of communications and public relations experience to our team.

Carrie Bricker joined our development team as the data clerk.  Carrie will be responsible for gift and data entry for Foodshare.  Carrie previously worked in the development office at the Girl Scout council.

I wonder if any of them knew what they were in for, starting work at Foodshare in the middle of "A Turkey and Thirty."
