Inventory Day

Foodshare's auditors are in the building today, working with our staff, as we conduct our year-end, full physical inventory.

If you have toured our distribution center in Bloomfield, you know that is a major undertaking!

Our work on inventory in the last week of every year is always complicated by incoming food donations.  We can't say no to them and so we have to work out a way to accomodate incoming food even while we are counting! 

And the last week of the year is a busy one as food companies are also doing inventory and discovering things in their warehouses that they want to donate!
