ShopRite of Bristol recognized for hunger fighting efforts

Yesterday, I visited the ShopRite in Bristol as the store and two of its associates were once again honored by General Mills as "Hunger Fighting Heroes."

Each year, General Mills features local ShopRite store associates who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to fight hunger in their communities and puts those associates photos on a Cheerios box!

The new box was unveiled yesterday with Bristol ShopRite Associates Stephanie and Jessica pictured on the box.  They are pictured here with store owner Paul Torna and manager John Murphy.

It was a wonderful celebration of ShopRite of Bristol, all of their management, associates, and customers, and all they have done to fight hunger in the region, and I was pleased they invited me to be part of it.

The in store bakery made these amazing cakes for the celebration!
