Governor Malloy visits Foodshare

Governor Dannel Malloy was at Foodshare's facility at the Connecticut Regional Market today to make two announcements:

The release of a report from the Governor's Council on Agricultural Development which details the goal of and plans for increasing the amount of consumer spending on Connecticut Grown products from the current 2 1/2% to 5%, and

The availability of funding to repair the roof of the Regional Market buildings.

The leaking roof has been a problem for Foodshare and the other companies at the market for sometime, so we were pleased to host the Governor to make this announcement!
