Recognizing volunteers

Last week was National Volunteer Week and I was pleased to be able to recognize some outstanding individual and groups of volunteers at our annual "President's Circle" luncheon.

For an individual, earning a place in the President's Circle means the volunteer has contributed more than 50 hours of service and been involved in at least four different kinds of volunteer projects.  For a group, this award also recognizes involvement in at least four different ways.

It was such a pleasure to treat this group to lunch and celebrate all of the ways they support Foodshare's mission to end hunger.
