Help spread the word about summer food for kids

End Hunger CT! and the CT No Kid Hungry campaign will be holding a statewide Blitz Day on July 8th in an effort to spread the word about free summer meals in Connecticut! There will be five events held concurrently in Hartford, Groton, Naugatuck, Norwalk, and Waterbury.

We are in need of volunteers to help us spread the word in two ways:

1. Come to one of our meeting places on July 8th and help us canvass neighborhoods for a few hours.
2. Not able to show up? Help us spread the word through our "Virtual Blitz" where we will bombard the social network world with summer meal messages.

We would love for all of you to join us on this day. We would also appreciate anything you can do to help us find volunteers for Blitz Day. Attached is a flyer for volunteer recruitment.
