State Senators visit Mobile Foodshare sites

State Senator Terry Gerratana distributed food at the Mobile Foodshare site at St. Ann's Church in New Britain on Wednesday.  She was very interested in learning how the state could help people get more and better food, and in more dignified ways, through programs like SNAP and school meals.  We look forward to working with her on improving and expanding those programs.

State Senator Gary LeBeau helped with the distribution of food at the Mobile Foodshare site at the Wappping Community Church in South Windsor on Thursday.  He was astounded to see 103 households served at the site and made a personal donation to support Foodshare's work.
