CHEFA grant

Foodshare is pleased to have received a $75,000 grant from the Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority (CHEFA).  This grant will support Mobile Foodshare, which provides thousands of pounds of produce to people in need every week, and help us acquire a new forklift to improve the efficiency of our warehours operations.

Today, Michael Morris, Assistant Director of CHEFA stopped by Foodshare for a tour and to present the check!  Thank you to everyone at CHEFA - you are making a huge difference to hungry children, parents and seniors throughout greater Hartford!
