Celebrating five years at Foodshare

At Monday's staff meeting, we recognized truck driver Gary Sherwood for his five years of service at Foodshare.

I often think that the drivers have the hardest jobs (I know that they are harder than my job in many ways).  They have to not only be good truck drivers who can put big trucks into small spaces safely, at the Mobile Foodshare sites, the driver is also part program manager and part social worker - roles for which they have no formal training, only their common sense.
