An Interfaith Community Gathering

The first evening of Chanukah and on the eve of Thanksgiving

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

 7:00pm-8:00pm

 

Join us for this special “Thanksgivukkah” gathering at Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford

 

 The event opens with candle lighting in honor of Chanukah and the song “Light One Candle” led by Cantor Sanford Cohn and the Emanuel Adult Choir.  Apple cider and jelly donuts will be served.  Donations to benefit Foodshare and the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry at JFS will be greatly appreciated.  Checks may be made payable to “Emanuel Synagogue” with “Thanksgiving Drive” written in the memo line.  If you are unable to attend please feel free to send a check c/o Emanuel Synagogue.
