A compliment to Foodshare volunteers

When I was at the New Covenant United Methodist Church in East Hartford today for the summer meals "blitz day" kick-off earlier today, one of the volunteers from the Hunger Action Team who was there to help, came up to me and said, "You have the nicest, most wonderful volunteers who answer the phones at Foodshare."

And I when arrived back at Foodshare, there was volunteer Mary Alice covering the front desk for us!

So, thank you for that feedback.  And thank you to all of the great volunteers who do all kinds of work at Foodshare, including the front desk.
