Dr. Jerry Graham and Dr. Laura Holden of Avon Wellness Dental Associates presented a donation to long-time patient and Foodshare staff member, Gaye Sgamboti.
Each year their practice holds a coloring contest during Children’s Dental Health Month. In exchange for each wonderful picture submitted by a young patient, Dr. Graham and Dr. Holden donate $10 to Foodshare. This year they were pleased to present us with a check for $500. What a creative and generous way to engage with their young patients and to support the work to end hunger!
We are so grateful for their generosity and the role they play in helping hungry people in Hartford and Tolland counties.
