Festival of Food Security coming in September

As part of Hunger Action Month in September, the Hartbeat Ensemble is holed a weeklong "Festival of Food Security," using the arts to draw attention to food and hunger issues in the region.

 

 “Thook” is a theatrical exploration of Food Security, International Trade and Hunger. This multi-media performance weaves together text, installation, movement, projections and music.  The acting troupe of 8 is from India.  There will be 3 performances at the Carriage House Theater, 360 Farmington Avenue, Hartford (adjacent to Immanuel Congregational Church), on September 4, 5 & 6 at 7:30 PM.
