WHO WASTES FOOD? NOT ME!

A new consumer survey found that 63% of respondents are concerned about the amount of food wasted in the United States. Great news, right? Well, it turns out that only 1 in 3 of them thinks the amount of food wasted in their own household is a problem. In other words, I don’t waste food, but everyone else does. Americans, in fact, throw out nearly 25% of the food they buy, costing the average family of four $1,365 to $2,275 a year.
