East Windsor Hunger Action Team at Community Day

Social Services)  and Marie Groves (Coordinator of the Five Corner
Cupboard Food Pantry in East Windsor). 

It was a picture perfect day on Saturday 9/20 for the annual East Windsor Community Day Parade and Fair.  East Windsor Hunger Action Team members set up a Hunger Action Team table in a prime location, at the front of the entrance to the Fair.  We recruited four new HAT members, passed out information for two of Foodshare’s partner agencies: Pauline’s Stock Pot Soup Kitchen and the Five Corner Cupboard Food Pantry.  We also distributed information on SNAP Outreach, as well as SNAP Education, and information from the Town of East Windsor Department of Social Services.
