East Windsor HAT Works with Job Service

Along with its work on finding and promoting sources of food, the East Windsor Hunger Action Team is working with Peter Kenny of the Good Works Project. The project has previously helped more than 200 people find a job by showing them how to conduct an effective job search, how to make the most of an interview, how to use data mining, how to deal with career changes, and how to make a résumé more effective (hint: résumés are frequently scanned and evaluated by a computer these days, so exotic fonts and elegant designs only confuse the system and take you out of the running). Now Kenny is bringing this free service to the East Windsor HAT’s clients.
