Foodshare Still Needs Over 2,000 Turkeys!

We are closing in on our goal of turkeys for 19,896 families, but about 2,100 birds are still needed! Foodshare’s largest distributions happen this week – 4,383 turkeys are needed today and 3,973 for Tuesday.

Starting today we really need all donations brought directly to Foodshare in Bloomfield, so that we can hand them out to people at the scheduled times.  Foodshare will be open today from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

We hope people will continue to be as generous as they have been, despite the nasty weather! And don't forget, while we've passed the halfway point on our fundraising goal of $900,000, we still have a long way to go to meet that goal as well.  Those funds are important because they help Foodshare provide food to people in need all year long.
