Towers Watson Warms Up Season for People In Need

Towers Watson in Weatogue understands the importance of giving. This month, they held their 7th Annual "Cash, Cans, and Mittens" drive. They raised $2,000 for Foodshare and over $1,000 worth of food items for Gifts of Love in Avon. In just five days, they collected cans, adopted 5 families for Gifts of Love and fulfilled all 38 "mitten" requests.

 

Terry Carlson of Towers Watson was understandably proud. "Everyone gave what they could and I think the outcome speaks volumes about the type of employees we have working in this office." In addition to the money donated by their 80 employees, their office made a pledge to match the fundraising efforts for a $4,000 donation.
