An Update from Doug Comstock

"I have been in Dover since July 17th waiting for weather to cooperate to do my English Channel solo swim however it has not happened as of yet. Gale Force winds have prevented me from having the opportunity to swim. The first Neap tide is over for the month so I will be [traveling] for a week. 

...I will return to Dover with the hope of having a "weather window" to allow my swim. My next dates are August 10-14."
