MCC's 18th Annual Empty Bowls Project!

Now in its 18th year at Manchester Community College (MCC), Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. Potters and other craftspeople work with the community to create handcrafted bowls and guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and bread. In exchange for a $15 donation, guests will get to keep the handcrafted bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. The MCC culinary department, area restaurants and food suppliers will be providing more than 200 gallons of soup as well as bread and pastries for the event. 100% of the donations will benefit Foodshare.
