State Representative Tim LeGeyt visited a Mobile Foodshare site in Avon to talk with constituents, help distribute fresh food and to meet Foodshare’s new President and CEO James Arena-DeRosa. The site distributes food to more than 70 people in need every other Tuesday from 10:00 – 10:30 am at the American Muslim Center, 35 Harris Road, Avon. The next distribution will be on November 3rd. Avon Social Services and Gifts of Love also help to coordinate the site.







Rep. LeGeyt has been a longtime friend of Foodshare, joining us at Mobile Foodshare each year and staying in touch with the Farmington Valley Hunger Action Team.
