The scholars of CREC Museum Academy in Windsor are studying child hunger this semester, taking them on a field trip to Foodshare this week. More than sixty second grade students toured our Bloomfield facility. They learned that 1 in 5 children are food insecure, meaning those children do not know where their next meal will be coming from.
This bright and engaging group will end their project with a "Community Connections" exhibit at the school on December 3rd. We look forward to the difference they will make as future advocates and activists against hunger!
