Fill Mr. Hurlburt's Truck

There have been so many wonderful stories over the past few weeks -- communities coming together to provide a Thanksgiving meal to our neighbors in need. Buttonball Lane Elementary School is one of those stories...spearheaded by teachers Janice Skene, Laura Sekelsky and Tina Pagluighi, students were encouraged to donate turkeys to fill Mr. Hurlburt's truck.

We had the pleasure of meeting Kent Hurlburt, the principal of Buttonball, when he hand-delivered 67 turkeys to our warehouse last week.  He shared with us how excited the kids were to be a part of this effort and we, in turn, shared with him how excited we were that 67 families would now join in the celebration.

To all of the teachers, parents and students at Buttonball -- thank you for being our hunger heroes this holiday season!
