We can transform Greater Hartford, one meal at a time!

Registration for the 33rd Annual Foodshare Walk Against Hunger is now open, and this year walkers are being asked to raise $630,000 to benefit our hungry neighbors. Thanks to sponsors like The Hartford, every dollar will provide immediate relief for those struggling to put food on the table, while also supporting connections to build a better tomorrow.

“Real change requires more than words—it takes compassion, a genuine deep exchange of ideas, and an unwavering commitment to action,” says James Arena-DeRosa, Foodshare President & CEO. “The Foodshare Walk Against Hunger is about starting the conversation, bringing new and different voices to the table, and providing a platform for anti-hunger advocates to share their passion with the community.”

Hunger is a way of life for 1 in 8 Greater Hartford residents, but it doesn’t have to be. The food bank wants you at the table for this fight to ensure equal access to food and adequate nutrition for every person in Greater Hartford. Register online at FoodshareWalk.org, and take part in the walk on Sunday, May 1. You can become a part of the movement that makes hunger history.
