Congrats to our Ops Team on a Job Well Done!

Foodshare recently passed our AIB Food Safety Audit with flying colors! Our main distribution facility in Bloomfield received a score of 900 out of 1,000 points, while our produce sorting facility at the Regional Market in Hartford received a score of 940.

A satisfactory score on an AIB audit is a food industry standard that insures a facility is operating under best practices for safe food handling and distribution. The AIB (American Institute of Baking) provides inspections for food distribution centers throughout the world and has partnered with Feeding America, the national network of food banks, to provide these inspections free of charge to all member food banks.
