34th Annual Walk Against Hunger Open House

Hands On Hartford, a Foodshare partner, recently hosted an open house to promote participation in the 34th Annual Foodshare Walk Against Hunger.

Al Marino, our Fundraising Events Specialist, spoke with guests--including board members, supporters, and clients--about Foodshare's work in the Greater Hartford community, and the importance of taking part in our Walk.

As one of our largest fundraisers of the year, this event supports the ongoing work of Foodshare and our 300 program partners, to increase access to healthy food, while providing longer-term support for our neighbors who are struggling with hunger.
