Hartford Harley Owners support Foodshare

This weekend officially kicked off Foodshare’s Turkey and a Twenty Campaign with the 17^th Annual Turkey Run, organized by the Hartford Harley Owners’ Group, and sponsored by Stop & Shop Supermarkets.   For the first time ever, I was away and missed the event, but it certainly looks like they had a good turnout and a good time!

An estimated 100 riders participated, raising 54 turkeys and $2,548. Funds raised will help provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal for our neighbors in greater Hartford, and continue providing support during the difficult months ahead.

A big thank you to everyone who came out to ride, and all those behind the scenes who made this event happen…as well as Stop & Shop for donating an additional 1,000 turkeys in support of this event!
