Late last week, Foodshare's Alicia Flynn and Paula Siebers stopped by one of the local Stop & Shop stores and were presented with a check in the amount of $25,844.44. This represents the proceeds of Stop & Shop's Region 9's efforts with last fall's Food for Friends campaign. Not only is Stop & Shop one of the largest donors of food in the region, the chain and their customers are among the largest donors of funds!
