WalMart Manchester was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for their donations in 2013. The staff at this store worked hard through a year of constant construction to donate 16,327 meals worth of food to their community. Because of their generosity, the store earned a plaque this year as well.
By this summer the store expansion will be complete and WalMart Manchester will officially become a Super Center with a full grocery section. The staff at this store is already so committed to the food donation program they will be ready to add new food categories, like meat and dairy, and even more produce. Thank you Walmart Manchester for being such wonderful partners in the fight against hunger.
