CT Alliance for Basic Human Needs
The Connecticut Alliance for Basic Human Needs (CABHN, pronounced "cabin" for those in the know) is a statewide network of individuals, community groups and organizations which supports and promotes advocacy on issues affecting low-income people. Check out their current newsletter, CABHN Fever, here, which has articles about the SNAP employment and training program, financial help for families with a child with autism, security deposit assistance, and much more. The newsletter is delivered via e-mail. You'll find information to sign up and to follow them on Facebook in the newsletter.
