Thanking donors

One of the many roles volunteers play at Foodshare is in writing brief thank you notes to donors.  One of those volunteers drafted this message for her personal notes and I just had to share:

Dear _____:

I was happy to hear about your recent donation to Foodshare.  As both a longtime volunteer and donor I am glad that you share my enthusiasm for the important work that Foodshare does in our community.  It is a privilege to be associated with Foodshare and I count the hours I spend there as some of the best of my week.
