Foodshare employees volunteer

Foodshare encourages our employees to volunteer at local food pantries or community kitchens in order to have the chance to be on the front lines of fighting hunger and better understand both the needs and the challenges.

Food Sourcing Manager Ernie Pitti has taken this seriously and volunteers once a week at the Enfield Food Shelf.

He gets to see the end results of his work to secure donations of healthy and fresh food and meet the people in his hometown who benefit.
