7,000 hours of volunteer service (times two!)

Volunteers Graham and Lois Hall recently passed 7,000 hours of volunteer service - apiece!  Graham and Lois drive from their home in Kensington three days a week to work in Foodshare's reclamation room.  They also help with Turkey and a Twenty and the Walk Against Hunger, as well as using their own pick-up truck to deliver food from Foodshare to Bread for Life and the Salvation Army, both in Southington.

If this all sounds familiar, it may be because you read about Graham and Lois in the Hartford Courant a couple of weeks ago.

Graham and Lois, the blue jacket we presented today hardly seems like enough acknowledgement!  Please know how much we appreciate all of your hard work to support Foodshare's mission of ending hunger in greater Hartford.
