Fighting hunger at the State Capitol

State Representative Brian Becker, a former member of Foodshare's Board of Directors and current Honorary Director, hosted a breakfast for legislators at the State Capitol this morning.  It was a chance to observe Foodshare's 30 years of work to end hunger in the region and to share with legislators our goals for moving our mission to end hunger forward.  We wanted to raise thise issues with state legislators because we firmly believe that ending hunger will require both public and private efforts - neither the government nor the private non-profits can do it alone!
