The number of families coming to the Mobile Foodshare sites often increases as the end of the month approaches and the families' other resources have run out.
This week, we seem to be seeing a larger than usual increase. The Community Renewal Team sponsored site on Park Street in Hartford jumped from 200 families on June 13 to 286 on June 27. And at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, also in Hartford, they served 250 households on June 27, compared to only 156 two weeks earlier.
