We are very excited that our Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Alicia Flynn, has been accepted into a young leaders exchange program with Turkey. Our Turkish visitor, Burcu Topkaya, is here with us this week, seeing our work at Foodshare and also visiting some of our community partners and donors.
Burcu works at the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Turkey and was matched with Alicia because of Alicia's experience as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce.
We are all enjoying Burcu's visit and look forward to hearing more about Alicia's experience, both this week, and after she makes her visit to Turkey in September!
