"Turkey Luck"

This giant stuffed turkey greeted donors who arrived at our “Turkey Tent” with donations this week.  I couldn’t remember seeing it before and wondered where it came from.  Well, I just found out…

Foodshare Board member Andrea Obston gave the turkey to the winner of our "Bad Turkey Joke" contest at a party held at Foodshare five years ago on her company's 25th anniversary.  The winner was a former employee of Andrea Obston Marketing Communications, Robin Veronesi.

Robin thought it was only right that she return it to Andrea at the company’s 30th anniversary party last week. Robin and Andrea both agreed that Foodshare could make better use of it than either of them and hope that it brings continued Turkey Luck for 30 more years!
