Students can help fight hunger

During Hunger Action Month, which is in September each year, Foodshare conducts the annual Student Voices Against Hunger art contest.  This contest includes divisions for Kindergarten through twelfth grade in artwork, writing, and video production. 

This year's theme is "Hunger May be Sitting Right Next to You."  See the brochure and note that all entries are due by September 25. 

This year's art will be displayed in the State Capitol Concourse from October 16 through 31, with an awards ceremony at the Capitol on October 24.
