Over 3,000 more Connecticut residents received SNAP benefits in September than did in August. Over the past year (September 2012 to September 2013), the number of Connecticut participants rose by over 5% to more than 432,000. These increases came despite a nearly 1% drop nationwide during the year.

ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry this happened to you. The person you met with is, of course, a volunteer, and apparently got a bit flustered about what to do next. Our SNAP Outreach Coordinator is going to try to reach you to help resolve this or you can feel free to call us at 860-286-9999.
